No Mutton-Busting
Unfortunately, Audrie was unable to ride any sheep. I guess it's just for little kids and they have to be under 60 pounds. Audrie will still do the Pedal-Pull tonight! Last year she got 4th place so I hope she does just as well! I will post pictures later.

Getting ready for Mutton-Busting!!!!

Tomorrow is Audrie's big day. She will be participating in Russell County Fair's Mutton Busting. For those who don't know what it is, here is a picture. Hopefully she doesn't fall off right away! I will post pictures of her sometime this week. Thursday night is the Pedal-Pull race. She participated in this last year and received 4th place amongst boys and girls. Audrie is one strong cookie!

July 4th
On the morning of July 4th, RD and Daddy Mo participated in a parade. They both rode their four-wheelers. Unfortunately, RD didn't win a prize for 'Most Creative'. There were some weirdos out there a little more dressed up than her! Jake, NaNa D, Poppa T and I watched from the street as the parade went on.
After the parade, Audrie got to go to the petting zoo. She fed a goat a bottle and even got into the cage with them! She liked how the goats nibbled on her fingers. They were pretty cute!
That evening, we had supper over at NaNa D's and Poppa T's house. Poppo, Laura, Matt, Kaysie, Camden, Jon and Amanda were there. Daddy Mo, Uncle Jon, and RD enjoyed trying to blow up apples and other things. At first, Jake didn't like the firecrackers. After awhile though, he loved watching the lights and hearing all the snaps and crackles the Fourth of July had to offer! When the firecrackers stopped, he would point and make some babbling noises. We think he was trying to say he wanted to see more!
